GharSathi ("we", "our", "the app") is a free property due diligence tool for Pune homebuyers. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect and how it is used.
2. Data We Collect
GharSathi does not require account creation or login. We do not collect or store any personally identifiable information (PII).
When you run a property check, the following is sent to our backend server for processing:
- Project name you enter
- Builder name you enter (optional)
- RERA number you enter (optional)
This data is used solely to fetch property information and is not stored after the request completes.
3. Third-Party Services
GharSathi uses the following third-party services to fetch property data:
- MahaRERA — maharera.maharashtra.gov.in (public government data)
- Serper API — Google Search results for news and area intelligence
- Groq AI — LLM inference for data synthesis
- OpenStreetMap / Nominatim — Map and location data
Each service has its own privacy policy. We do not share your search queries with any advertising network.
4. Cookies and Analytics
GharSathi does not use cookies, trackers, or analytics SDKs. No data is shared with advertisers.
5. Data Retention
We do not retain any user search data. Each request is processed in real-time and discarded. We may retain anonymised server logs (IP address, timestamp) for up to 30 days for security and debugging purposes only.
6. Children's Privacy
GharSathi is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of GharSathi after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
